London Travel Update: Windrush Line Delayed and Partially Suspended — Stay Informed

Commuters using London Overground services this morning are facing delays, with technical issues impacting trains between Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington.

Because of a power supply issue, TfL has announced that the Windrush line will be halted between Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington, as well as between New Cross and Surrey Quays.

There are also minor delays between West Croydon and Sydenham, but a good service on the rest of the line.

In other parts of London, streets continue to be shut down near Stoke Newington due to a suspected gas blast on Dumont Road. This required the attention of approximately 40 fire officers earlier today.

There is a queue extending for at least four miles on the M25 clockwise near Epping following an accident involving three vehicles.

As per INRIX, there is congestion extending from exit 28 of the A12 at Brentwood/Brook Street Roundabout all the way to junction 27 of the M11.

The traffic flow was halted starting at 8:20 am, however, the duration of these obstructions remains uncertain as of now.

Several streets in Stoke Newington are still fully closed at present.

Police have stated that roadblocks continue to be enforced on Stoke Newington High Street, stretching from the intersection with the A10 down to Defoe Road.
