Earlier this January, the area near the Walt Disney World Railroad saw renovations begin. Throughout much of the refurbishment process, access to half of the station’s upper-level balcony has been restricted. Although some protective coverings have been taken down from the second level, parts still remain covered.
The work appeared nearly finished in March.
The scrim has been reinstated above all the second-floor railings. Additionally, there is scrim, construction walls, and movable planters obstructing the work area on the first floor overlooking the park.

On the left side of the station, beige scrim hangs over the faux stone walls. More red-tinted scrim covers the short walls of planters.

The walls on the opposite side of the station are also covered with beige scrim.

A small piece of scrim covers a gap where a decorative feature once sat above the archway on the left side. The far left and central archways remain intact with their decorations still present.

Indications of painting can be seen above the archways at the Main Street train station, however, it hasn’t been finished yet. You can notice some untidy splashes of clashing hues.
Part of the inside stairs remains exposed, guiding visitors alongside building walls that are under construction. Conversely, another section is concealed behind a scrim material.
The inner railings are similarly protected with scrim. This time, more of the balcony is cordoned off compared to earlier renovations at the Main Street train station, providing visitors with just a limited space to seat themselves on this higher floor.
The previous tiles have all been taken out, and it appears that the team is preparing to put in new ones. Behind the scrim, we noticed piles of tiles awaiting installation.
