WHEELING, W.Va. — This month, “The Spirit of Poland” cultural event will be held in Wheeling, showcasing live musical performances and authentic folk dances originating from Poland, Lithuania, and Slovakia.
The gathering will take place on Monday, June 23rd, at 7 PM inside the gym of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, situated at 2103 Market Street.
The exhibition is accessible to everyone and suitable for all age groups.

The show will showcase more than 40 performers dressed in traditional attire, performing alongside live music bands. Leading this gathering are the Sycamore Folk Dancers, presenting an array of cultural expressions from various parts of Eastern Europe.
It marks the second occasion this organization has organized the event. Their initial showcase took place in May in Steubenville, Ohio, attracting over 300 attendees.
The organizers intend to unite communities via music, dance, and cultural festivities.
