HONOLULU (KHON2) — On May 27, Hanauma Bay will remain open until later as part of the City and County of Honolulu’s public art project called “Wahi Pana: Storied Places.”
The event will showcase the debut of a movie by Kekahi Wahi, a community-based film group.
“We believed that Hanauma Bay is the most frequented location across the Hawaiian Islands, and thus, utilizing videos could be an exceptionally great method to disseminate this knowledge extensively,” stated Donnie Cervantes, who serves as the co-director of Wahi Pana.
