The Kells’ estate is located on the fictitious New England island of Port Haven, which seems accessible solely via ferry, yacht, or possibly a private helicopter. Although the atmosphere closely resembles that of Nantucket, all episodes of the Siren series were shot exclusively in the tiny New York communities of Northport, Lloyd Harbor, and Southold.

The production team was required to construct sets at the location of an existing private residence close to Northport. According to production designer John Paino, “the house wasn’t big enough for our needs, so we added extensively, but it already featured an amazing cliff.”

To achieve this, the team installed pergolas, erected a turret, constructed additions, and placed a massive anchor in the front yard. They also aimed to instill a sense of uniformity throughout the mansion to emphasize how extreme wealth can have an unsettling facade. As he explained to the publication, “Wealth creates a glossy exterior where everything appears pristine and high-end, from the main residence down to the guesthouse and employee areas.”
Regarding the inside of the house, a significant part of it was constructed on location.
