NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) — The New Bern Civic Theatre plans to present “Sankofa” as part of their Juneteenth festivities.
The exhibition collaborates with Cynthia M. Evans-Robinson and the Creative Team behind Sankofa 2025 – Elevating Live. It showcases elements of African heritage and culture via spoken word, music, dance, mime, and martial arts.
The latest addition to this distinctive artwork will be showcased exclusively at the New Bern Civic Theatre on Friday, June 20th at 7:30 pm, as well as on Saturday, June 21st at both 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm.
