A kitten from St. Johns County narrowly avoided using up one of its nine lives when officials reported that it was saved at an oyster bar in the intra-coastal water area close to Crescent Beach on Saturday.
On Saturday, the St. Johns County Marine Rescue shared that a kitten aptly called “Oyster” was saved by two people paddling kayaks at an oyster bed close to the State Road 206 Bridge in Crescent Beach. These rescuers discovered her in a perilous situation and she needed help.
The Marine Rescue team reacted to the alert following the rescue of the kitten.
