Darren Roe, the Managing Director of Stagecoach East, stated: “We are extremely proud to have numerous veterans on our team, and it is an honor for us to acknowledge the courage and commitment demonstrated by our Armed Forces members, cadets, and veterans.”
Providing complimentary rides on VE 80 Day is a modest way to show gratitude for the significant contributions made by our servicemen and women, both past and current.
Since March 2015, Stagecoach has been part of the Armed Forces Covenant, acknowledging the importance of active service members, both regulars and reserves, as well as veterans and their families, to the nation and enterprises throughout the country.
