New Jersey Rolls Out Real IDs on Tuesdays in May Ahead of TSA Enforcement

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission introduced extra sessions dubbed “Real ID Tuesdays,” which will commence following the May 7 deadline. After this date, individuals traveling within the U.S. must possess a Real ID unless they carry an alternative acceptable form of identification such as a passport.

Real ID Tuesdays will commence on May 20 and will occur biweekly according to the commission. They mentioned approximately 5,200 additional Real ID appointments will be available every fortnight.

“Real ID Thursdays,”

To secure an appointment for a Real ID, individuals traveling must present a collection of documentation referred to as such by the Motor Vehicle Commission.
