The fourth yearly Birmingham Folk Festival is scheduled for May 17 at Avondale Park.
The open-to-the-public event will commence at 11 a.m. featuring the Jackson-Olin High School Band. It will conclude at 7 p.m. with a performance by The Secret Sisters, a singing pair hailing from Muscle Shoals. The Avondale Library will provide
a showcase of The March Quilts
Additionally, there’s a March Quilts community class available. Guests attending the festival can use the library’s auditorium as a tranquil retreat.
The event will likewise include local artisans and craft sellers, along with a variety of food trucks.
