Titletown Train Show

Explore more than 35,000 square feet dedicated to model trains featuring demonstrations and interactive activities at the Titletown Train Expo. This event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 3 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 4 at the KI Convention Center located in central Green Bay.

Inauguration of the ‘Washed Ashore’ exhibition

The “Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea” exhibition is returning to the Green Bay Botanical Garden this weekend. It will open on May 2. This touring nationwide display features massive artworks crafted from oceanic plastic waste, aiming to shed light on the issue of plastic pollution.

‘Medicine River’ author signing

Mary Annette Pember, the author of “Medicine River,” about the history of Native American boarding schools, is coming to the Brown County Central Library. Her presentation will include a book signing and meet-and-greet.

Adventure Park opens at NEW Zoo

NEW Zoo’s Adventure Park is opening early for the season. It will open May 3, instead of opening on Memorial Day weekend. The early opening comes after nice weather conditions, the zoo said May 1.

Adventure Park hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on weekends. The Neil Anderson Canopy Tour is 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on weekends. Tickets are $10.95-$34.95 depending on the package. More information and tickets are at

Walk to Mary

Participate in the Walk to Mary pilgrimage to the destination.
National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion
, 4047 Chapel Drive, New Franken. The 22-mile spiritual journey begins at the National Shrine of St. Joseph, located at 1100 Employers Boulevard, on the grounds of St. Norbert College.

The walk begins at 7 a.m. on May 3. Registrations will be accepted up until 5 p.m. on May 2.
