Donald Trump labeled ‘nuclear Dorito’ as his artificial tan hits an all-time high.

The U.S. government has enacted “Do Not Travel” advisories, advising citizens to steer clear of certain areas because of significant dangers like armed combat, terrorist activities, and pervasive criminality. Such alerts form part of the department’s initiatives to keep travelers aware of possible hazards overseas.

Journeying to North Korea is advised against because of “the persistent significant danger of being arrested, detained for extended periods, and facing unjust incarceration.”

Traveling to Burkina Faso is not recommended due to heightened risks of “terrorist activities, criminal acts, and abductions.”

The latest update now lists 21 countries where Americans are advised against traveling. Some regions within Mexico do carry Level 4 advisories; however, the overall warning level for Mexico remains at Level 2—”Be extra cautious”—for an extended period.

These notifications occur against a backdrop of increasing worldwide tensions and evolving security conditions across different areas.

These are the nations where the U.S. government has advised against traveling:.

A number of Canadian airlines are reducing services on routes to key U.S. destinations following reports of widespread cancellations by Canadians due to increased tensions with the Trump administration. Airlines such as Air Canada, WestJet, Porter, and Flair are preparing to decrease flight frequencies to urban centers like
San Francisco
, Miami, New York, and Washington observed a significant drop in both leisure and business travel from Canada to the U.S., as reported by TTW.

On the contrary, these carriers are increasing their European routes because of strong demand and a more favorable political climate.

Data provided by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) shows that border crossings decreased by 12.5% in February and by 18% in March. This decline in travel across borders is the latest sign suggesting that Canadians are avoiding trips to the United States due to President Donald Trump’s trade conflicts with Canada and his controversial statements about making Canada America’s “51st state.”

The Flight Centre Travel Group Canada has noted a 40% decrease in Canadian trips to the U.S. at the beginning of 2025. According to projections from Tourism Economics, there will be an anticipated decline of 15.2% in international visitors traveling to the U.S. this year.

Even with declining tourist counts, Trump assertively told ABC News’ Terry Moran on Tuesday that “visitation has increased significantly,” insisting that it’s doing “quite well.”

Recently, significant actions taken by leading airlines appear to convey a contrasting narrative. For instance, just over the past year, Air Canada expanded its international routes between North America. They added more flights originating from Montréal–Trudeau International Airport destined for San Francisco International Airport, reaching up to three round trips per day during summertime’s busiest weeks.

But now, as demand wanes, Air Canada is scaling back to just one daily flight on this route. This follows cuts to services linking Vancouver International Airport with Miami, Houston, and Washington.

Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s senior executive overseeing Revenue and Network Planning, noted that the carrier is “redirecting capacity toward areas with stronger demand,” which includes the European market. In similar news, WestJet, another major player in Canadian air travel, has canceled its recent plan for establishing a new route between Vancouver and Austin.
