College Students in Triad Hit by President Trump’s Travel Ban

President Trump’s travel restriction is affecting students in the Triad region.

The prohibition stops individuals from 12 specific nations from coming into the U.S., while imposing partial travel limitations on another seven countries.

A representative from North Carolina A&T State University stated that there are presently 25 registered students originating from Iran, Sudan, and the Republic of Congo who are affected by the complete travel ban.

They mentioned they are closely tracking the situation. Additionally, other nearby colleges have stated they are observing the effects as well.
