Flight Diverted After Passenger Attempted to Open Emergency Door in Houston-Bound Plane

An aircraft traveling from Tokyo to Houston had to make an unscheduled landing in Seattle when an disruptive passenger attempted to access an emergency exit mid-flight, according to airport authorities.

A representative from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport informed ABC13 that All Nippon Airways Flight NH14 touched down around 6:19 a.m.

Officials stated that a male traveler tried to access an emergency exit mid-flight but was stopped by fellow passengers and crew members. Upon arriving at Sea-Tac Airport,Seattle Police came aboard the plane and found out that the individual was undergoing a health crisis, as reported by authorities.

The passenger was transported to a nearby hospital for assessment, and the flight continued on towards Houston.
