ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) – The inaugural Rockford City Market Mimosa Fest was brimming with more than just orange juice drinks; it also featured plenty of food and entertainment.
This is my initial personal endeavor for this type of event. I’ve participated in several such gatherings throughout southern and central Illinois before, teaming up with the individual from Wired Café,” explained event coordinator Dave Murphy. “His main aim was simply to ignite enthusiasm for a great communal get-together and enjoy fantastic moments.
The festival was established by several local enterprises, prioritizing enjoyment as their main objective.
“This is simply a collective pledge to provide excellent services to the community and create chances for small enterprises to connect with a broader audience,” Murphy went on to say.
An attendee was commemorating her birthday with her companions.
“We’re incredibly thankful to Rockford for uniting us at City Market; it was such an exhilarating moment on this lovely day,” stated Brianna Clementz.
Murphy believes that such events demonstrate to the locals what Rockford has to offer.
“Definitely enjoying what we have in this city. It’s all about having the chance to contribute to the community and showing them who we really are,” stated Murphy.
