BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – There’s a new beer on tap at Foam Brewers.
Beers are going bottoms up to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. ‘You Are a Light’ is a locally made brew inspired by mimosas. It contains tangerine, orange, and sauvignon blanc grape juice.
The Delta Marriott in South Burlington will be serving it for their Mother’s Day brunch Make-a-Wish Fundraiser.
The hotel is hosting Make-A-Wish kids who need a room, and their food and beverage director is making it all happen to help kids with cancer.
“It gives them hope, and opportunity to be with their family, and outside of thinking about their illnesses or anything else that’s affecting them in life,” says Geoffrey Whalen
A little less than 10% of the proceeds will go toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It’s a one-time batch so it’ll only be on tap at the Delta Marriott and Foam Brewers until it’s out.
