. Monica was spending the day with her son, her cousin, his wife and their daughter in Disney Springs, Disney World’s shopping and entertainment district. After purchasing a slushie at the dessert shop, Monica joined her family inside the store.

While waiting in the checkout line, Monica’s son got distracted by a slap-on wristband. As the duo decided which one to grab, a group behind the family asked to keep the line moving, according to the poster.

“They’re like ‘Hello, the line’s moving, are you guys gonna go?’” she recalls. “‘Yes, give us a second, like, my son’s trying to grab something,’” she says to the group as her cousin-in-law moves the group’s stroller forward.

As the line moved forward, Monica says the group repeatedly made comments behind them. They also made comments in Spanish, which Monica speaks, but she ignored them.

“They’re tourists that don’t know how to act,” she says.

When Monica’s group got called to the checkout counter, the wheel of their stroller got caught on a corner. Monica alleges the group behind her — two men and two women — got impatient and “harassed” her about moving. Still shaken, Monica got even more worked up when the neighboring register opened up for the tourists.

“They said one more comment to me and that’s when I snapped,” Monica says. Then she told one of the group members “their nose job does not look good.”

After she claims the man called her ugly in Spanish, they continued to exchange “petty” arguments back and forth. Before long, she threatened to throw her slushie and one of the men encouraged her to do it.

“I took my drink and I threw it at the girl, because obviously I’m not fighting with men,” she says.

Then the physical brawl began. She alleges that it started with one man hitting Monica twice in the face. Monica recalls throwing two punches before the tallest man grabbed her, which is the moment she screams “let go of me” in the original video.

“There’s four against me,” Monica describes. “My cousin’s wife took the kids and went away.”

She adds: “Of course I’m going to react that way, I just got punched in the face by a man.”

Monica says her cousin later informed her she saw Monica in a chokehold, though all she remembers is being held by the tall man. While restrained, she continued to hit the other tourists.

Despite the commotion and all the onlookers, Monica does not recall anyone else trying to break up the altercation.

“I can’t remember every detail from that point on, but I know that security never came. Nobody ever stopped the fight,” she claims.

After removing herself from the situation, Monica does not remember seeing the group again. She believes they left through another entrance. While Monica tried to leave the building, she claims an employee told her not to leave.

“‘I’m not staying here, I need to get out of this building before I hit everybody in this place,’” she remembers saying in the heated moment.

Then she alleges an employee held her son back so she couldn’t leave, but another employee released him.

“I went and I grabbed my kid, I sat down and I just started crying,” she says. “I didn’t run away, I didn’t do anything wrong. A man punched me in my face.”

“Yes, I should’ve never thrown that drink at him,” she admits. “But I kept warning them.”

In

, Monica claims that she waited another 10 minutes for security to arrive. She also informed the police everything that happened and repeatedly told them they had no idea who the tourists were.

“All I got was banned from Disney, and that is okay,” she says. “I will accept that punishment.”

Disney representatives did not immediately respond to ’s request for comment.
