A section of the M25 has been shut down in the anti-clockwise direction following a crash with three cars involved.
Emergency responders have arrived at the location of the event situated between exits 27 and 28, close to Brentwood in Essex.
The third and fourth lanes of the highway were first shut down during the busy morning traffic time.
Traffic has subsequently been momentarily halted, with queues extending for four miles (6.4 km) being reported.
