Isle of Man to Belfast Route Set to Resume in December

Loganair has announced that it will operate a restricted number of round-trip flights between the Isle of Man and Belfast during the holiday season, following a similar arrangement from the previous year.

Three return trips, each accommodating 72 passengers per trip, have been planned for December 20th, December 27th, and January 3rd of 2026.

After EasyJet ceased operations between the locations, the operator took over the route.

Loganair stated that these flights will “offer essential connections during one of the peak travel periods of the year.”

The chief commercial director, Luke Lovegrove, stated: “We understand the significance of this connection during this season.”

Restarting the flights over Christmas would “assist in making sure travelers can return home or host their beloved ones throughout the holiday season,” he mentioned.

Geoff Pugh, who is serving as the interim director at Isle of Man Airport, stated: “We completely acknowledge the continuous need for all-year-around connection and we are currently interacting closely with various airlines regarding this matter.”

Setting up these flights for Christmas 2025 will significantly benefit the community, aiding friends and loved ones in coming together during this extraordinary season.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet will run two round-trip ferry services between the island and Belfast on December 21st and 28th.
