Hundreds of British Travelers Face Summer Holiday Cancellations as Company Collapses

The CAA has verified that the firm located in Sandhurst, Berkshire, stopped operating as an Atol holder on June 13, 2025.

The Air Travel Organisers’ Licence is a financial safeguarding program managed by the CAA for package vacations offered by tour operators within the UK.

As per the program, should a company cease operations, you’ll receive a refund for your reservation.

Based on information from Companies House, the travel company has been active since September 2002.

The CAA stated that Great Little Escapes operated under various names including Your Holidays, Tunisia First, along with their associated websites themaldives.co.uk, yourholidays.co.uk, thecaribbean.com, and greatlittleescapes.co.uk.

The statement read, “We are presently gathering data from the organization and will provide an update on this page at the earliest opportunity.”

Customers of Great Little Escapes should be informed not to file a claim until the CAA completes collecting data.

The closing occurred merely two months later.

Carnival Cruise Line stated in an announcement: “We understand the disappointment this news will bring to the guests impacted and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This choice was not made hastily.”
