New Life-Saving Therapies Set to Launch at Mountain View Hospital’s Innovative Day Clinic

A pioneering day hospital focused on caring for individuals with blood cancers and various blood disorders is scheduled to launch at Mountain View Hospital.

The 1,200-square-foot facility will offer cellular therapy and stem cell transplants, which are essential treatments for numerous blood disorders.

Dr. Carolyn Mulroney, who serves as the medical director for the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network, emphasized the importance of this new facility. She stated, “Before we brought these services here, patients had to go all the way to Southern California, Phoenix, or Salt Lake City just to receive this treatment.”

Dr. Mulroney commented, “We are offering access to medical care for those who couldn’t afford such extensive travel before, and also improving things for patients who were able to travel but can now remain in their own homes and communities.”

The facility is set to be completely opened by June 24.
