How 422 Lane Closures Next Week Might Snarl Your Commute in Lower Pottsgrove

LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP, PA

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation ( PennDOT ) has disclosed forthcoming road closures on U.S. 422 in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County. These closures are linked to an $83.6 million initiative aimed at rebuilding and improving 2.1 miles of the highway along with replacing several bridges.

Starting from Monday, June 16, until Friday, June 20, intermittent lane closures will take place on both sides of U.S. 422 between the Armand Hammer Boulevard exit and the Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) interchange. These road limitations will be active each day from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM as part of ongoing rebuilding activities.

Drivers passing through the construction area should prepare for extra travel duration due to anticipated traffic jams and hold-ups. Please note that all planned activities can vary depending on weather conditions and might be modified accordingly.

Motorists are advised to stay patient and vigilant when driving through the construction zone.
