Austin Parks Foundation
is scheduled to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Zilker Eagle miniature train this coming weekend.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, between 10 a.m. and noon at the Zilker Eagle Depot, which is situated at 2131 1/2 William Barton Drive.

The cherished train, which made its comeback in June 2024 following a five-year break, has subsequently attracted more than 100,000 passengers from across the globe.
Austinites can celebrate by taking advantage of complimentary rides on the Zilker Eagle all day until the station shuts down at 6 p.m.
The festivities will include an assortment of entertainment options such as complimentary popsicles provided by GoodPop, face painting and balloon artistry courtesy of Parties by Kara, along with engaging train-related events hosted by Painting Pandas. Guests will have the opportunity to savor a unique Zilker Eagle ice cream concoction created specially for this event by Amy’s Ice Cream.
