From the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, we’re excited to share an exclusive glimpse into Williams English’s journey to Jamaica. Watch her travel vlog below.
Photoshoot preparation in Los Angeles
Before heading to Jamaica for her shoot, Williams English went to the gym daily for two weeks. Similar to most people, when it comes to packing, the SI Swimsuit model waits until the last moment and usually ends up with more items than necessary.
“I generally make an effort to keep things light, but somehow, I always end up packing too much,” she confessed.
As Williams English packed her suitcase, she selected clothes for her upcoming on-camera interview with the SI Swimsuit crew and added some laid-back choices, such as an oversize Adidas jersey she mentioned buying from Amazon.
Once she finished packing, Williams English refreshed her roots using a home coloring set by Clairol, before receiving a spray tan courtesy of her good friend, renowned tan specialist Isabel Alysa, who runs the company Dolce Glow as its CEO and founder.
She has been giving me bronzing treatments for years,” a mother confided, mentioning that besides achieving a beautiful sun-kissed look, she also gets some contouring. “She really likes defined abs and prominent cheekbones.
Journeying to and reaching Jamaica
Williams chose a redeye flight leaving Los Angeles for Montego Bay late at night around midnight. After landing in Jamaica, she headed directly to the Round Hill resort, where she immediately went for a swimsuit fitting upon check-in.
“There are so many suits,” she joked. “I haven’t even registered for my room yet, but we’ve already done a complete fitting. I am absolutely loving these outfits; after all, tomorrow is the main event.”
Nia Lynn’s founder decided to turn in for the evening at 8 p.m. so she could be well-rested ahead of an early wake-up call at 5 a.m. Following her alarm going off at 4:45 a.m., Williams English made her way to the styling area where she began her day alongside hairstylist Paul Norton and makeup artist Jodie Boland.
After getting camera ready, Williams English stepped in front of Yu Tsai’s camera and struck a series stunning poses in some truly gorgeous swimsuits. Check out her complete gallery from the 2025 SI Swimsuit Issue
