Approximately 1,000 parking spots are reserved for “Clean Vehicles,” which includes cars used for carpools, fuel-efficient models, and those powered by electricity or alternative fuels. Additionally, there are 185 spaces fitted with EV charging stations.

Meanwhile, 20 spots are marked for one-hour parking and are intended for people picking up or dropping off passengers, including older adults, people with disabilities and minors.

Up to Level 1, parking spaces suitable for vehicles with heights of up to 9’6″ are provided. For those driving vehicles shorter than 8’4″, Levels 2 through 5 offer appropriate spots. Where can I find the T1 Parking Plaza?

Drivers can reach the plaza by following signs for both westbound and eastbound directions on North Harbor Drive.

Every one of the three areas inside the plaza is distinguished by a distinct color and design pattern to assist individuals in navigating through.

Along with glass-backed elevators and an open stairwell, the three “cores” also have natural light and plenty of ventilation — all meant to “enhance the customer experience,” according to the airport.

The updated parking facility includes eco-friendly amenities such as an intelligent guidance system designed to assist patrons in swiftly locating available spaces and minimizing car exhaust, along with a water management system for collecting and recycling rainwater to stop runoff from reaching San Diego Bay.

The
