The recommendation suggests travelers stay updated with both local and global news sources for current details, “remain cautious,” and adhere to directives from local officials.

Typically, guests are advised to adhere to local regulations since the UAE is a Muslim nation—especially throughout the month of Ramadan.

Engaging in same-sex behavior, using drugs, and consuming alcohol in public spaces are all prohibited in the UAE.

Certain flights to and from Dubai and the UAE’s main city

have been canceled due to disruptions in the area.

Dubai International Airport announced via a tweet on Friday morning (June 13) stating: “Due to airspace closures over Iran, Iraq, and Syria, some flights at @DXB and DWC — Al Maktoum International have been canceled or delayed. We are actively managing this situation and assisting impacted passengers.”

The statement read: “Kindly verify with your airline for recent changes and rescheduling possibilities prior to proceeding to the airport, and allocate additional time to reach us. Our staff members are available to help affected travelers. Thank you for your patience and comprehension as we track this circumstance.”

The Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi stated: “Travelers should anticipate flight disruptions throughout today at our facility. We recommend that passengers verify the current status of their flights with their respective airlines prior to heading to the airport.”

Since the Foreign Office doesn’t advise against traveling to the United Arab Emirates, you won’t have grounds for obtaining a complete refund when cancelling your trip.
