The Sunflower Trail & Festival is set to return this coming Saturday, June 14th, along Highway 3049, located north of Shreveport.
The Sunflower Trail provides an stunning sight of sunflowers. Enjoy their beauty as you drive for miles through this scenic route along the well-known 136-mile Boom or Bust Byway.
Once you follow the yellow pathway, you’ll reach Gilliam’s Sunflower Festival, where you can revel in sunflower-inspired celebrations. The festival will take place in downtown Gilliam from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with everything in full blossom.

Just around the corner from Mian Street Café, located at 12807 Main Street, you’ll find vendor booths lined with handmade crafts, artwork, and unique gifts.
The occasion guarantees enjoyment and amusement for all ages. Children can unleash their imagination through DIY art and craft activities!
