Driver Entered Secure Service Road at Bush Airport, Officials Claim

On Thursday evening, flights were briefly halted at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) after a car struck a barrier and proceeded onto a service road within the cargo section, according to statements made to KHOU 11 by airport authorities.

According to the Houston Police Department, a female driver hit a gate and subsequently left the location. A representative from Houston Airports stated that the driver managed to use a service road within an industrial zone.
