For the first time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Yosemite National Park has made all its campgrounds available for the summer season.
The park rangers have declared that all 13 of the park’s campgrounds will be open for this summer season, providing around 500 additional camping sites for visitors to enjoy the outdoors.
For the first time since 2019, the park is now open for camping across all campgrounds.
We’re thrilled to welcome the public to these campgrounds as we head into the bustling summer season,” stated Acting Yosemite National Park Superintendent Ray McPadden. “Campers in this park get an enchanting experience, and our aim is to offer this to as many guests as we can.
The White Wolf Campground is scheduled to open on June 20, with the Tamarack Flat Campground following suit on June 23; both sites are situated along Tioga Road. Starting from June 15 at 7 a.m., bookings for these locations can be made online. Following this date, reservations will become available every day, rolling out two weeks ahead of each visit.

Park rangers have informed visitors that potable water is not accessible at either of the campgrounds. Portable restrooms will be supplied at the White Wolf Campground, whereas covered pit toilets will be made available at the Tamarack Flat Campground.
The Yosemite Creek Campground, located along Tioga Road as well, plans to open on July 1st. From June 17th at 7 a.m., reservations for campsites numbered from one through forty in this campground will be made available every day online, with bookings accepted up to two weeks ahead of time. It’s important to note that drinking water won’t be supplied; however, vault toilets will be accessible to campers.
The opening dates for Bridalveil Creek Campground, Porcupine Flat Campground, and Tuolumne Meadows Campground have not yet been disclosed.
