restricting its employees
From journeying amidst increased strains in the area due to tensions between Israel and Iran.
The embassy issued a Thursday security warning stating that due to heightened regional tensions, U.S. government personnel along with their relatives are prohibited from traveling beyond the expanded regions of Greater Tel Aviv (which encompasses Herzliya, Netanya, and Even Yehuda), Jerusalem, and Beer Sheba until further notice.
The update follows the announcement made by the Trump administration on Wednesday that they intend to scale back the measures.
