Plane Veers Off Runway, Winds Up in Grass After Landing in Boston

— On Thursday, a plane went off the runway and onto the grass at Boston Logan International Airport, as reported by the Massachusetts State Police.

JetBlue Flight 312, which was coming in from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, reportedly had “an unusual landing,” according to officials.

The Massachusetts Port Authority (MassPort) stated that runway 33-L has been shut down for official inspection of the aircraft. All travelers from the affected flights have been transported via bus to the closest terminal.
