Avelo Airlines has declared the reinstatement of its direct flights from Tweed-
New Haven
From the airport to Traverse City’s Cherry Capital Airport in Michigan.
Avelo is the sole carrier providing direct flights between Traverse City and Connecticut. The one-way ticket prices start at merely $49.
The service will operate two times each week, specifically on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Passengers will board an Avelo Airlines Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft and have the option to book their seats by following the link provided.

Situated along the shores of Lake Michigan, Traverse City boasts the title “Cherry Capital of the World” due to its prominence in cherry farming. Every year, the town organizes the National Cherry Festival, which attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists.

Andrew Levy, the founder and CEO of Avelo Airlines, showed enthusiasm on Wednesday regarding the resumption of the route for the upcoming summer season.
“The reintroduction of Avelo’s direct flights to Traverse City from Southern Connecticut highlights the ongoing demand for accessible, budget-friendly, and top-tier reliable services,” Levy stated.
He mentioned that traveling to the Cherry Capital of the World from Connecticut has never been simpler.
“This direct non-stop service will also ensure that exploring Southern Connecticut and the broader New England and New York area becomes a smooth trip for tourists from Michigan,” Levy stated.
