An countless multitude of individuals may stroll through Waterloo’s Cut unaware that the Bus Café is nearby.
This location ranks among the least notable spots in town, hidden behind imposing metal barriers along an inconspicuous side channel that people rarely pay attention to unless flames erupt.
It’s peculiar how close the café is to the Old Vic theater, along with being just steps away from Wahaca, Rosa’s Thai, Flat Iron Steakhouse, and Meson Don Felipe—a tapas place that truly merits greater acclaim.
The Bus Cafe provides some of London’s heartiest and budget-friendly dishes from morning until afternoon, specifically between 8 am and 4 pm.
No one would consider paying over £7.50 for a fry-up, spaghetti bolognese, or a serving of jerk chicken, even though the kitchen struggles to meet the overwhelming demand from Generation Z. Recently, however, due to sporadic but notable attention from a cohort of skilled TikTok creators, an additional £1 has been added to each dish’s price.
