Tavern in the Square
is launching a new eatery in Massachusetts.
The casual dining establishment from New England, famous for its comprehensive, regionally-sourced menu, plans to launch a new outlet in Braintree before the end of this year. This particular venue in Braintree will mark their 14th branch within Massachusetts and their 18th across the entire New England area.
Although an exact opening date hasn’t been set yet, the new site has indeed been verified through Tavern in the Square’s official website as well as the Town Clerk’s office of Braintree.

Regarding The Tavern at Square Braintree
With a total area of 16,668 square feet, the Braintree Tavern at the Square will include a spacious bar, a vast indoor dining area, and a 1,200-square-foot covered terrace, ideal for savoring the eatery’s seasonal dishes during social events or sports outings.
The new site will be situated at 60 Forbes Road, replacing the former TGI Fridays spot that shut down earlier this year in January. Work on the construction is presently underway, with Tavern in the Square aiming to launch their operation in Braintree sometime between late summer and early fall of 2025.
