) — Thunderstorms are expected to impact several regions across the country on Memorial Day weekend making it harder to travel in the air and on the ground.
The Southeast and Southern Plains regions are expected to experience significant precipitation in the coming days, potentially leading to flash flooding.
“A cold front is set to reach the area for Memorial Day, bringing with it growing possibilities of thunderstorms. The morning may see some intense storms which could develop into stronger and more severe ones during the afternoon,” as stated by an authority.

“Even though the primary issue will involve destructive wind gusts, there’ll also be a risk of sizable hail,” they noted.
