) — Thunderstorms are expected to impact several regions across the country on Memorial Day weekend making it harder to travel in the air and on the ground.
The areas of Southeast and Southern Plains are expected to experience significant precipitation in the coming days, potentially leading to flash floods.
“A chilly air mass will move in on Memorial Day, bringing with it rising probabilities of thunderstorms. The morning may see some intense storms which could develop into stronger and more severe ones during the afternoon,” as stated by an official.
