ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – In response to the tornado that struck on May 16, the American Red Cross has established an additional shelter in St. Louis to assist those impacted.
The shelter marks the fourth one established by the Red Cross and can be found at Peter & Paul Community Services: Garfield Building, situated at 2612 Wyoming Street, St. Louis. As reported by the organization, the total count of individuals looking for accommodation in these shelters had risen to more than 200 by Saturday.
The Red Cross stated that individuals who have been displaced by the tornado are invited to seek refuge at the shelters where they can access snacks, water, meals, and secure accommodations. Transport services will be provided up till 8 PM from two locations: the Save-A-Lot parking lot located at 4447 Natural Bridge Avenue and another spot at the junction of 5200 Cates, Enright, and Union streets.
