A beloved exhibition featuring fluffy animals has returned as Blank Park Zoo transitions into its summer operating schedule.
Alpaca Acres welcomed visitors back on Saturday. Guests can visit the zoo to interact with and stroke the alpacas. Additionally, they have the opportunity to participate in the Giraffe Feeding Experience and socialize with the taller creatures.

This Saturday signaled the start of longer operating hours at the zoo for the summertime. Until Labor Day, Blank Park Zoo will remain open every day from 9 AM to 5 PM. Additionally, during various nights over this season, Blank Park has announced that zoo members can look forward to special evening visits extending past regular hours.
Zoo Brew
The adult-only event, which lets participants savor beverages, live tunes, and the zoo sans children, kicks off in June. The festivities run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each Wednesday beginning June 11 through July, with an exception on July 2. During August, Zoo Brew will occur solely on the initial two Wednesdays of the month.
Beginning in July and continuing through the end of October, Blank Park Zoo will undergo a temporary transformation.
Dino Park Zoo
There will be over a dozen lifelike animatronic dinosaurs, along with educational initiatives and special events.
