Phoenix Police Officer Commended for Heroic Baby Rescue

A police officer from Phoenix was recognized for rescuing an infant in 2023.

The police stated that this incident occurred on December 8, 2023. Officer Tyler Luna attended to a call indicating that an infant was non-responsive and not breathing.

The footage of Luna’s brave acts was recorded via his body cam. The Phoenix Police released this video.

Within minutes, Luna arrived at the location and promptly sprang into action to rescue the infant.

He employed a CPR method to open up the infant’s breathing passage.

In April, Officer Luna was honored with the Medal of Lifesaving during the police department’s Annual Awards Ceremony.

Last month, Officer Tyler Luna received the Lifesaving Medal during our Annual Awards Ceremony. In response to a severe emergency call concerning an unresponsive infant, Officer Luna promptly administered lifesaving CPR. As a result, he successfully rescued the baby from perilous circumstances.
