ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Due to a problem with cabin pressurization, a Delta flight returned to the Atlanta airport on Tuesday, as reported by the company.
Flight 826, a Boeing 757-200 aircraft carrying 165 passengers, touched down safely at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 7:41 p.m., according to a statement from an official representing Delta Air Lines based in Atlanta.
The plane was en route to Santa Ana, California, but had to make a U-turn, as per a flight tracking website.

“The crew of Delta flight 826 followed established procedures to safely return to Atlanta following a cabin pressurization issue,” the airline said in a statement. “Nothing is more important than the safety of our people and customers, and we sincerely apologize to our customers for the experience and delay in their travels.”
