MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) — On Sunday, visitors filled Marquette’s Presque Isle Park to take advantage of the recently reopened loop. This section had been open to vehicles starting from Friday for the new season. Groups of families and friends took full advantage of the pleasant sunshine by exploring Black Rocks.
Beth Buyze and Maddy Quinn mention that the Presque Isle loop offers easy access to prime agate hunting spots. According to them, the region is not only stunning but also rich in their beloved rocks.
Buyze claims they enjoy lounging in the sunlight and searching for agates.
I was cruising around when I asked Maddy if she wanted to spend some time with me,” Buyze explained. “While waiting for her response, I noticed that the roundabout was free, so I immediately made a U-turn and headed over to her place since I wanted to go through it together.
She mentions that the loop provides chances for kayaking, biking, and walking with pals.
