Recently, Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo, also known as another prominent YouTube personality and Twitch broadcaster, joined this virtual chess event organized by PogChamps. This platform, which is run by Chess.com, brings together various internet celebrities for matches with each other.
On May 1, 2025, during a live stream, Asmogold addressed the fact that everybody knew Lupo had been cheating in the online chess competition. At first, Lupo attempted to refute these claims, however, once he found himself under scrutiny from all sides, he was compelled to acknowledge his actions. Lupo admitted:
