Oregon’s wine region has been crowned a champion! According to an evaluation by VinePair, which ranked the best 10 global wine destinations, the Willamette Valley claimed the top spot.
While the region has traditionally been famous for its pinot noirs, it has recently expanded to incorporate a far more diverse array of grape varieties over the last several years.
Champagne, France, secured the second position.
The sole other U.S. area to appear on the list was the San Luis Obispo Coast in California, ranking fourth.
