While not everybody enjoys sweltering weather, this past week of sunshine has proven beneficial for our seaside getaways and tourist spots as they’ve had an excellent opportunity to greet their guests.
They have been bringing out their buckets and spades from Weston all the way to Minehead.

As the mercury climbed this week, locations such as the River Avon attracted many who could cool down by wading into the water during the sunny weather.
Great expectations: This week, Somerset’s female cricket team faced off against Lancashire in Taunton as part of the Metro Bank One Day Cup competition; the visiting side emerged victorious by seven wickets.
