Both rooms within the statehouse
were unable to reach an agreement on a financial plan that could be submitted to Governor Ron DeSantis.
Senate President Ben Albritton has stated that legislators will have a break for the upcoming week. They aim to start a budget conference the week beginning May 12th, with the intention of completing and approving an operational budget.
The session will now continue until June 9.
