The image displays fragmented natural components, with Minor asserting this is the “sole location within the entire U.S. where such structures have been recorded.” In a

, Minor posted an image taken prior to the vandalism and noted that these structures “are known as mirabilite mounds and they develop along the shoreline of the Great Salt Lake.”
