Organized by Indivisible 605, the march commenced at the federal courthouse on Thursday afternoon, proceeded to the Arc of Dreams, and concluded at Fawick Park.

The gathering aimed to highlight the importance of the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantee due process—a right that participants argued is being overlooked by the present government.

“Due process is a subject of debate. While it might not affect many individuals present, it does make an impact within our community. Even though you or your loved ones might remain untouched by this issue, it still causes harm to fellow humans. This is precisely why we’re gathered today—we possess empathy. We simply wish for adherence to due process and the Constitution. The bothersome yet essential document known as the Constitution contains guidelines which must be obeyed—be they from the Second Amendment or the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments,” stated Roni Wegner, who chairs the advisory board of Indivisible 605.
